JOEL: So Akash, let’s talk about what it means to our clients about premium customers. You know, one person’s looking for, you know, the response rate. Somebody else in the company is looking for the conversion rates, right?

And then nobody talks to the accounting department, right? Nobody wants to talk about the back end, you know, and what it means to the bottom-end line. The ROI, right? It’s the stickiness to that customer. Right?

That’s how long they stay on board. I mean, have you been finding that when you talk to some of your customers now? They’re more interested in hearing what you have to say about that.

AKASH: Yeah. So it’s actually very interesting, the conversation which I’ve been having. Obviously the KPI metrics which you talked about. Like what the response rate is, what the open rate is, all that. It is important for people to measure.

But the one thing that always comes up at the end of the day, everyone wants to know how much money are we going to make out of this? What’s the ROI – Return On Investment?

And that is a huge, huge differentiator in terms of how people make decisions. Because if you – and also that kind of goes into what the initial question was about premium products.

Right? A lot of these companies, they have multiple different products. Obviously priced at varying levels for different types of customers. You have your basic products which are for your general window shoppers, if you will, who come and go.

Not – They’re trying to get people in the door and then you have the more higher value products or services which are for people who can spend a little bit more, who’s wanting to stay with you for a longer period of time. so those are what we would consider a premium product.
